I've been around music all my life. I started playing piano around the age of 7 and was composing songs before I officially started taking lessons at 8. I was classically trained in piano but took an interest in jazz pretty early on. Throughout high school and college I played piano/keyboards in jazz bands and accompanied numerous choral groups. I composed music for all of these groups at some point during my tenure with them. I also sang with most of them. It wasn't until my involvement in the local church that I started playing and singing pop and rock music in a band. I've had the opportunity to play with some of the best musicians and singers in the area over the past 15 years. It's been a great experience using my God given abilities in such an inspirtational and meaningful way. Over the past year I've taken an interest in composing music for commercials, film and video games. I've always loved good film music. I've recently started to write jingles and have been working with the local radio media in the Columbia, MO area. I will update this page with much more info about me and my family very soon.
